What is it?
Octopus is a member of the cephalopod family. Its similar to squid or cuttlefish you can flash fry it , but it's even better slow cooked in a stew.

Preparation Options
Like a squid the tentacles and the main body of the octopus is edible. You need to remove the head, beak, innards and skin.

Is it sustainable?
Our octopus comes from Looe and are caught with jigs, the MCS doesn't have any information about the sustainability of this but it is probably safe to assume that it is very sustainable.
